the meetingI have been going to this same bar since it opened nine ears ago and never had an experience like the one I did last night. I walk into the bar and sit down on my favorite stool the one in the far corner next to the jukebox, the bar tender notices me and brings me my usual. I am sitting there minding my own business when this older gentle man leans over and says, “I know the truth”. He goes back to drinking.    A few minuets later, I am still thinking about what he said to me so I leaned over and asked, “What is the truth?”   Then he starts explaining “I am a veteran I was in many battles the one t the meeting

SuccessSuccess is one of those words that’s hard to get a clear definition of, simply because  there are so many different definitions of it. According to the dictionary success means: achievement of an intention, attainment of fame wealth or power, something turns out well, or lastly someone is successful when they are wealthy, famous, or powerful. My definition is completing a goal or finishing a task. In my mind wealth, fame and power have little if anything to do with success.   There are a lot of points in my life when I have felt successful, however for the sake of this essay i will only talk about one of them. the part of me you dont seeFor the first four years of my life I grew up thinking that it was normal to get beat by my parents every night before bed. How was I supposed to know indifferent? I remember very few things from that part of my life, which is probably a good thing. I do however remember what the house looked like, and the boy that lived across the driveway. I remember that his name was Bradley. I remember that he and I used to spend hours playing in our yards and making mud pies and putting them in the road so cars would hit them.
